White Water Kayak Coaching
Looking to take your first steps into white water kayaking or ready to build on the skills you already have? Our white water kayak coaching days are designed to help you grow in confidence, develop your technique, and have fun on the river – all while exploring some of the most scenic paddling locations in the Scottish Highlands.
Based in Fort William, all coaching is delivered by a qualified Paddle Scotland White Water Kayak Coach. With years of experience paddling in the Highlands, sessions are tailored to suit your individual needs – whether you're a beginner looking to make that first move onto moving water or an intermediate paddler keen to refine your skills and progress on more technical features.
From ferry glides and breaking in and out, to building river reading skills and improving control on more challenging lines, we’ll work with you to develop your paddling in a supportive and encouraging way. Whether you're preparing for future qualifications or just want to feel more confident on white water, we’re here to help you make that leap.
Prices: £80pp for a full day of coaching max group size of 4

All safety equipment can be provided this being buoyancy aids and helmets. Paddles and Kayaks are not provided.

Due to this activity being done in the white water environment the minimum age is 18 for all white water activities.

In white water kayaking - no. But you would need to understand how to paddle a kayak on flat water before booking white water kayak coaching.

You will need to be able to get your kayak to the river/meeting point. we can sort out the shuttle from end back to the start but help is much appreciated with this.
